Globalisierung im Schatten der Überwachung ist ein seit dem 3.12.2013 an deutschen Kiosken erhältliches Debattenmagazin mit Beiträgen der Expertengruppe zu Themen der Globalisierung. Neben verschiedenen Perspektiven zum Transatlantischen Freihandelsabkommen TTIP behandelt es kulturelle Fragen von Vernetzung und Globalisierung, Verbraucherschutzthemen und menschenrechtliche Aspekte. Artikel aus dem Heft werden schrittweise hier online veröffentlicht. Ebook Versionen sind online zugänglich. Wie alle Inhalte des CoLab ist auch das Magazin unter freier Lizenz publiziert. The Transatlantic Colossus. Global Contributions to Broaden the Debate on the EU-US Free Trade Agreement is the result of an international Call for Papers conducted by the Berlin Forum on Global Politics as part of this Collaboratory Initiative. The publication unites a wide array of articles in different disciplines offering their perspectives on the TTIP (Transatlatic Trade and Investment Partnership), ranging from sustainability issues, to economic and technical aspects, data protection and tariffs. It is meant to contribute to the public discourse on a global level and to stimulate more transparency about the ramifications of this colossal undertaking between the two economic actors. The publication is available under an open license, and will be available online on January 17.
